FMU Athletic Director Announces Cancellation of Women’s Soccer, Volleyball By A.D. Drew , BCSN October 13, 2020 –Earlier today, Florida Memorial University Athletic Director, Ernest T. Jones, issued a statement that the University has cancelled their women’s soccer and volleyball programs for the remainder of the 2020 season. This immediate cancellation came as a result of feedback from a university survey and conversation with members of both teams and University. The press release stated that the well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and athletics staff is the priority.
